38. "The most beloved of speech according to Allah is when the servant says, 'Subhânallahi wa bihamdihî' [How Transcendent is Allah and we praise him!]." [Muslim]

Quotes to remember

27. “Nobody swallows a more bitter pill than that of anger—seeking the satisfaction of Allah.” (Ibn Majah)

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Tayammum is Invalid when Water is Present

Question:

One day, I had a nocturnal emission, and it was a very cold day, so I went to school and made Tayammum and prayed, then I returned home and I did not make Ghusl. What is the Ruling? Please benefit me, and may Allaah reward you with goodness.
Answer:

As for what has passed, he must repeat the two prayers which he performed without Ghusl for Janabah, because he was in the town and was able to obtain water. As for him, if he awoke and was afraid of the cold, then it would be allowed for him to perform Tayammum. But if he had some means of heating the water, it would be obligatory for him to perform Ghusl, and if he were on a journey, and he had no means to heat the water, he would be permitted to make Tayammum, and therewould be no sin upon him. But if he found water, he must make Ghusl.
