Announcing the Eid prayer

 


Question:

Is the adhaan or the saying 'salaatul jaami'ah' established for the day of Eid?
Answer:

The calling of the adhaan for the two Eids and the calling of some of the madhabs with: 'salaatul jaami'ah' is not correct, and there is a hadeeth in Saheeh Muslim which states that there was never any adhaan and no calling of 'salaatul jaami'ah'.
