Best of you

Quotes to remember

11. It was narrated that Abu Hanifa said to Dawud al-Taa’i, “Why do you prefer seclusion?” Dawud replied, “To struggle against myself to leave disputing.” Abu Hanifah said, “Attend meetings, listen to what is said, and remain silent.” Dawud said, “I have done so, but I have found nothing heavier than this.”

Salafs sayings

Sins are like chains and locks preventing their perpetrator from roaming the vast garden of Tawhid and reaping the fruits of righteous actions.

Praying the Witr Prayer in Congregation

Question:

Is it permissible to pray the Witr in congregation in other than the month of Ramadan, like, if some people were upon a journey, and the time for the Witr prayer arrived, should they pray in congregation even if it is once?
Answer:

There is no problem if a person prays the supererogatory prayers in congregation some of the time, because this is established from the Prophet sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam in the night prayer, that he prayed with Ibn Abbaas may Allaah be pleased with them, and he prayed with Abdullaah bin Masood, and he prayed with Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamaan; all of this is mentioned in the Sunnah so if they were to do this, and not take it as a established Sunnah then there is no objection to it.
