The ruling concerning whoever slaughtered his sacrificial Animal and then left it

Question:

What is the ruling concerning whoever slaughtered the sacrificial animal and then left it? Does that suffice him or not?
Answer:

It is the duty of whoever slaughters a sacrificial animal to deliver it to those who deserve it. It is not permissible for him to slaughter it and leave it. Rather, if he took even a little bit of it and ate from it and gave the rest in charity, that will suffice him.
