Best of you

21. "The best of you are those who feed others and return greetings." [Abu Ya'lâ, Hasan]

Quotes to remember

19. Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (ra) narrated, “I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about what saves me from Allah’s wrath, and he said, “Do not become angry.” (al-Tabarani and Ibn Abdul Barr) Ibn `Umar, Ibn Mas’ud, and Abu Darda’ (ra) relate similar conversations on their own behalf.

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

The ruling of the menstruating Woman sitting at the place of Sa'y

Question:

Is it permissible for the woman who is menstruating to sit at the place of Sa'y?
Answer:

Yes, it is permissible for the woman who is menstruating to sit at the place of Sa'y, because the place of sa'y is not considered a part of the Sacred Mosque. For that reason, if the woman gets her menses after Tawaf and before Sa'y, she may perform Sa'y because Sa'y is not the Tawaf, and purity is not a condition of it. Based on this, we say that if the menstruating woman sits at the place of Sa'y waiting for her family, there is no sin on her for that.
