Best of you

40. "The most beloved of people according to Allah is he who brings most benefit, and the most beloved of deeds according to Allah the Mighty, the Magnificent, is that you bring happiness to a fellow Muslim, or relieve him of distress, or pay off his debt or stave away hunger from him. It is more beloved to me that I walk with my brother Muslim in his time of need than I stay secluded in the mosque for a month. Whoever holds back his anger, Allah will cover his faults and whoever suppresses his fury while being able to execute it, Allah will fill his heart with satisfaction on the Day of Standing. Whoever walks with his brother Muslim in need until he establishes that for him, Allah will establish his feet firmly on the day when all feet shall slip. Indeed, bad character ruins deeds just as vinegar ruins honey." [Tabarâni, Hasan]

Quotes to remember

11. It was narrated that Abu Hanifa said to Dawud al-Taa’i, “Why do you prefer seclusion?” Dawud replied, “To struggle against myself to leave disputing.” Abu Hanifah said, “Attend meetings, listen to what is said, and remain silent.” Dawud said, “I have done so, but I have found nothing heavier than this.”

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

The Effect of Adherence to The Sunnah or Adherence to Innovations

Will Become Manifest Upon the Faces of its Relevant People

BY ABOO HAATIM M. FAROOQ OCTOBER 7, 2014 AQEEDAH,

الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على أشرف الأنبياء والمرسلين، نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين أما بعد

Shaikh ul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said:

“And so this handsomeness and beauty which radiates from the performance of righteous deeds within the heart that then take effect upon the face. Whilst ugliness and disfigurement which radiates from the performance of corrupt deeds within the heart that then take effect upon the face as has preceded. Then that is strengthened by the strength of the righteous actions and the corrupted actions. So every time righteousness and fearfulness to Allaah becomes abundant; the handsomeness and beauty are also strengthened. Whilst every time sin and transgression are strengthened; then ugliness and disfigurement are also strengthened. This is until they wipe away what the appearance contained from beauty and ugliness.

Forhow many were there that were not of handsome appearance, however through the performance of righteous deeds his beauty and attractiveness intensified until that became manifest upon his appearance. For this reason, that becomes manifest in clear manifestation with the continuity of abominations (shameful deeds) towards the end of ones life when drawing close to death – for we see the faces of the people of the Sunnah and obedience; every time they grow older their handsomeness and attractiveness increases. Such that one of them may become in his older age more handsome and beautiful than he was in his youth.

Likewise we find the faces of the people of innovation and sinfulness that every time they grow older their ugliness and disfigurement intensifies in a way that it is not viewed as such by the one who was overcome with that during his youth due to the apparent beauty of its appearance. This is clear to see in every one that exalts his innovation and his wickedness such as the Raafidhah and the people of wrongful misdeeds and depraved lewdness from the Turks and the likes of them.

For indeed the Raafidhee; every time he gets older; his face becomes uglier – and his disfigurement becomes yet greater. Until his resemblance strongly imitates that of the pigs.[1] For he may even be transformed into a pig or an ape – just as it has been reported in regards to them from multiple sources.”[2]

[1] The reason for why this happens is explained by Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahullaah) who said: “Read also the piggish transcript upon the appearance of those that resemble them – particularly of those who are enemies to the best of the creation of Allaah after the Messengers. They are the companions of the Messenger (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam), for indeed this transcript (copy) is clear upon the faces of the Raafidhah – it is read by every believer – literate or illiterate. It manifests and subsides in accordance to the piggish nature of the heart and its filth. For indeed; the pig is the most filthy of the animals and the vilest of them in disposition, and from that which is exclusive to it is that it leaves off the good things – and so does not eat them. The human gets up and leaves his excrement whilst it (the pig) hastens to it. So ponder over the conformity of this attribute with the enemies of the companions in how you will find it applied and closed upon them. For indeed they betook themselves against the best of the creation of Allaah and the purest of them and so took to being their enemy and distanced themselves from them.” (See: Miftaah Daarus Sa’aadah vol 2 p.254. Refer also to: Ighaathatul Lahfaan vol 2 p.476 in which the author gives further insight to the bad consequence of following this foul madhab and its manifestation upon the faces of its adherents.)

[2] Regarding this, Shaikh ul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) stated elsewhere: “…Likewise the Raafidhah, in their midst is the curse of Allaah and His punishment for the shirk of how they resemble them (those nations) in some aspects. Indeed; it has been established through multiple sources that amongst them are those who have been transformed; just as they (those nations) were once transformed. For Al-Haafidh Aboo ‘Abdillaah Muhammad bin ‘Abdil-Waahid [Al-Maqdisee] authored a book he entitled: ‘The Prohibition of Reviling the Companions; and What has been Reported in That from Blameworthiness and Punishment’ and he mentions in it a range of well-known stories in that regard. And I myself am aware of other stories concerning them which he did not cite.” (See: Minhaaj us-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah vol 1 p.485-486.)
